Every week I teach some kids some magic at a local school. Simple stuff. And now it hit me. Hard. Almost all of Jay Sankey's none coin, none card stuff is excellent material for 11-year-old kids. Because it is so very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very weak... and most often easy.

You're thinking like a magician. Sankey doesn't only sell magic, he's also been performing for at least 20 years and the fact he still makes money from that says a lot. You don't need complicated one handed moves to entertain an audience. With a good presentation, a blatant finger palm can do the trick too.
And he's got another positive thing: he's against misleading demo videos. His videos show the trick in their entirety without cuts at crucial moments to hide possible methods. That's a good thing. With other sellers you might be thinking you're buying an excellent effect only to find out it wasn't actually as clean as it first appeared.
Hmm, good point. But still most of his effects are weak. It is the presentation (as always) which makes it actually worthwile. About the video demos. I definitly second that. It is not that I do not like Jay. In fact I think he has done more for magic than others, but I consider him a quantity magician. His output is really high, ergo the ammount of trash is really high too.
